Cina, ‘Worm killer’ in Homoeopathic || grub worm

‘Cina’ is well known ‘Worm Remedy’ in Homoeopathic Medical Science. So let’s discuss about the drug picture of ‘Cina’:–

Cina well known as the ‘Worm Remedy’ especially for children, is one of the monumental treasures discovered by our Master ; Dr Samuel Hahnemann. Although Homoeopathy doesn’t believe in specificity here is a drug which is very near to the specific remedy for worm affection.

Spheres of Action:- Cina acts on mind,gastrointestinal tract; urinary bladder and nerves.

(1)Cina is pre-eminently a Worm remedy as it causes all the symptoms which characterise Helminthiasis;mental, bodily and nervous, such as grinding of teeth, constant digging and boring of nose; screaming during sleep; indigestion, nausea;and or vomiting, nocturnal enuresis,pain in abdomen and mental irritability extending even to convulsions.

(2)Children suffering from worms;pitiful weeping when awake; face is pale,sickly white and bluish appearance around mouth, sickly, with dark rings under the eyes, one cheek red; the other pale.

(3)Canine hunger; hungry soon after a full meal;craving for sweets and different things; refuses mother’s milk. But it has alternating canine hunger and complete loss of appetite.

(4)Desire for sweets and various indigestible things.

(5)Clean tongue, with white papillae raised on red edges.

(6)Mentally the patient is highly irritable,peevish, very cross and ill-humoured. Doesn’t want to be touched or looked at, cannot bear anyone to come near him. Wants various things,but when offered flatly refuses.

(7)Urine; turbid when passed,white and turbid.

(8)cramy, spasmodic pain at abdomen.

(9)Stool watery,thin, white containing undigested food particles. Nocturnal enuresis of child(bed wetting )
