About Dr Harikanta Das:
Dr. Harikanata Das is a Politician, Public Figure, Author, YouTuber and Blogger. He was born on 24th of August, 1985.
He is one of the Community based leaders of Assam, India. He is working for uplifting of backward indigenous Scheduled Caste Community of Assam. He has recently started students’ movement against departmental corruptions in Assam govt WPT department. He has worked as a central president of ‘All Assam Scheduled Caste Students’ Union’ since 2011 December 2020. He played important role against the Citizenship embedment act 2019 (CAA). Since 2009, he involved the anti-DAM movement against Lower Subansiri Hydro Electric Power Project Constructed by NHPC Gerukamukh, Dhemaji District in assam.
Early Life
Dr Harikanta was born in a remote village namely, “Ghilamara Par Ghat Goan” under Dhakuakhana Sub-Divison of Assam. He is the son of Shri Dhaniram Das and Smt Jamuna Das.
Dr Harikanta Das studied in Ghilamara Parghat Kaibortta Primary School, located in his own village. He went to Ghilamara Na-Pukhuri High School, Lakhimpur District in assam. He was graduated from Gogamukh College with Honours in Economics. Dr. Das has completed 5 years Professional Degree Course on Compound Homeopathy and 2 years Masters course of MD(CH).
Career
Besides working as a Community based leaders and working for uplifting of backward section of the society, he is also involved in various social activities.
Dr Harikanta Das is a Founder of Assam State Political Party Raijor Dal. He is the working Founder Vice-President of this state Political Party and at present he is taking important role to uplift the said Political Party.
Dr Harikanta Das was a Former President of Assam Jatiota Badi Yova Chatra Parisad (AJYCP), Gogamukh Anchalic Committee.
He was also the Secretary of All Assam students’ Union (AASU), Gogamukh Anchalik Committee.
He was a General Secretary of Gogamukh Higher Secondary Scholl Students’ Union Body.
Dr Harikanta Das is a Popular You Tuber. He owns a Popular You Tube Channel – Dr Haris Well Future.
